Director of Christian Education
In August of 2004 Kris became the Director of Christian Education for Children and Youth at First Parish Saco. She and her husband, Jim, have lived in Saco over 23 years while raising their family which includes Matt, Greg, Jeff, and Heather. Before coming to First Parish, she was on staff at South Congregational Church, UCC in Kennebunkport. She also works part time at Mercy Hospital in Portland as a Medical Technologist, a position she has held for over 20 years. She is a firm believer in Social Justice and Mission and has participated in four medical missions: Haiti twice, Jamaica and Guatemala. She has also traveled on several church mission trips to Honduras and New Orleans. Her passion is to help people of all ages develop a relationship with God through the transforming love of Jesus Christ. She feels that being at First Parish allows her to actively pursue this passion. Email
