Welcome/Announcements

Moment of Preparation – Let us prepare our hearts and minds for worship.
Lighting of the Candles

Call to Worship
God, who stretched the spangled heavens, infinite in time and place, flung the suns in burning radiance through the silent fields of space.
We, your children in your likeness, share inventive powers with you;
Great Creator, still creating, show us what we yet may do.
May our dreams prove rich with promise, each endeavor well begun;
Great Creator, give us guidance, until our goals and yours are one.

Opening Hymn“All Creatures of Our God, Now Sing”                                 #51

Prayer of Invocation
Wondrous God, from the beginning you have found delight in all your creatures. You declare your work to be good. As we seek your Presence, O God, open our hearts to receive your affirming love. Speak your Word to us, teach us your ways. Help us to see your beauty all around us. We pray in Jesus’ precious name. Amen.

            Our Lord’s Prayer (Sung)
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.  Thy kingdom come. Thy
will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread and
forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.  And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil: for Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory
forever.  Amen
