*Opening Hymn “This Is the Day” #257
Prayer
of Invocation (unison)
Holy Spirit, Breath of God, stillness settles around us like
a fragrant bouquet. Peace dwells within us like a gentle, flowing river. This
new day, this radiant light is your gracious gift to us.
O Wind and Breath of God, you send your dove of peace to
bring a season of calm and a time of reflection. You come yourself to renew the
earth, to reveal joy and to reshape hope.
O Wind and Breath of God, fill our lungs with the breath of
joy. Fill our hearts with gratitude and lift our voices in praise. Amen.

Our Lord’s Prayer (unison)
Our
Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be
done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive
us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but
deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory
forever. Amen.
