* OPENING HYMN: “Joyful, Joyful” #7
* UNISON PRAYER OF CONFESSION: Compassionate God, as we prepare to share the open table of your Son, we confess the times when we have closed ourselves to your love. Too often have we clung to our fear, our guilt, our self-hatred, rather than to let ourselves be warmed and healed by your love. Too often have we closed our hearts, refusing to be channels of your love to others. Too often have we been frozen like winter ice and snow. Melt now our hearts with glow of your forgiveness, and grant us the courage to trust you; the wisdom to let your love flow through us to others; and the joy of deepening community. AMEN!
